HOW TO: store receipts.

Last week I visited one of my lovely friends to spent some "jelly-time" together.

In her apartment I discovered two ragged old envelopes she uses to sort her receipts.
Since I have been sick and bored for the past three days I decided to catch up on crafts that don't require much physical activity.
Making a new receipt storage for her seemed to be just the right thing!
Here a tutorial.
I haven't given the envelopes to her yet and I sure hope she likes them.
I'll meet up with her on Thursday and shall present the crafty thing to her.

Last week I was hanging from one of my favorite girlfriends to spend with her a little "jelly time". In their Wall hung around zweitmitgenommene envelopes in which they lay their receipts.
For days sick and bored, now had to be a bricolage, which requires no major effort. Two fresh grad receipt collectors were right!
Here is a guide on how to do these things.

first Print your text size on a printer construction paper. Center your text. I used the font "riotsquad" which can be dl here .

second Fold one-third of the paper over (see image).
third Cut on both long sides of the paper until you reach the crease, then taper to the corner.

second Fold the upper third of printed, text remains visible outside (see picture).
third Both sides cut to the fold line (about 1 cm), from the bend obliquely tapering to the end schneiden.

4. If you want to you can round the top corners of the paper with a clipper.
5. Fold your text over - right side out. Align the slanted fold with the edge of the paper.
6. Stich closed with a sewing machine. Use a stirdy needle for example a jeans or leather needle. Make sure both sides align really well, only that way you create a pocket.

7th Punch holes in each corner of your envelope.
